The second annual PEI Business Summit is presented in partnership with JA Prince Edward Island and Stingray Radio.
Date: Tuesday, April 7
Location: Delta Prince Edward
This half-day event will be filled with insights, strategies, and networking opportunities alongside the business leaders of today and tomorrow.
This year, the keynote speakers, Andrew Coyne and Suzanne Knight, will shed light on the political and economic challenges impacting business and productivity in our region. They will also share practical advice on leveraging technology and AI to enhance performance.

Bilingual funding information for Storytellers in PEI | Exposé bilingue sur les subventions pour les conteurs et conteuses de l'Î.-P.-É.

Location: Virtual via Zoom
In partnership with Storytellers of Canada, Éliane Laberge, Bilingual Cultural Development Officer with Innovation PEI’s Cultural Development division, will offer a virtual information session on the PEI Arts Grants on March 17, 2026, at 2 p.m. Atlantic Time.
This virtual presentation is meant for PEI-based artists working across storytelling who would like to find out more about funding opportunities available through this program.

Featured Program: Prince Edward Island Art Bank Acquisition
Application period: February 18th - March 18th, 2026
Program Details: The Prince Edward Island Art Bank collection was established in 1979 to support and encourage visual artists living in Prince Edward Island. The contemporary works of art collected by the PEI Art Bank Acquisition Program demonstrate the knowledge, craftsmanship and artistic skills of professional artists and creators working across the visual arts in the province. Works are acquired through purchase (when funding is available), donation, gift and bequest.

Featured Program: Small Business Investment Grant
Applications period: April 1st, 2025 - March 31st, 2026
Program Details: The Small Business Investment Grant helps Prince Edward Island’s small businesses improve efficiency and innovation by way of a non-repayable financial contribution toward the purchase of eligible capital asset costs.
An eligible business may access support for eligible capital costs accrued between April 1st, 2025 - March 31st, 2026, related to (this list is representative, not exhaustive) :
- equipment;
- leasehold improvements/building construction (land and building);
- technology upgrades; and
- energy efficient upgrades.

"The Snake" is making its world premiere at the South by Southwest Festival SXSW!
Produced by Sharlene Kelly and directed by Jenna MacMillan of Club Red Productions, this film represents a monumental milestone for Sharlene, Jenna, and the casting crew who worked on The Snake.
The Hon. Gilles Arsenault, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Artificial Intelligence said in a recent news release “This achievement is a testament to the vision, hard work, and tenacity of this Island team and their belief in the PEI film industry. From initial concept to production to international acclaim, The Snake shows that our Island is not just a pretty backdrop; it is a powerhouse of creativity and talent where storytellers can bring their vision to life.”
